Solis alarm 1040: AFCI selfcheck protection
Solis alarm code 1040 usually means the inverter has detected an issue during its AFCI selfcheck. AFCI stands for arc fault circuit interrupter, which is designed to help detect possible arc faults on the DC side of the solar system.
Alarm code 1040 may appear as:
- AFCI-Check
When this happens, the inverter may stop operating or disconnect as a protective response.
