Optimise Your Solar System
Batteries are the known weak link of any solar system. How long they will perform or last is not unpredictable, but quite frustrating as it happens always when least convenient. To minimise such frustrations any solar system should have charge controllers to optimize the charge and discharge of the battery bank to improve the operating lifespan.
Find The Right Charge Controller
Fitting a charge controller minimizes problems and ensures batteries last as long as possible. Unlike all the other variables affecting batteries’ life, installing a quality charge controller we strongly recommend. Our range starts with the simple, no-nonsense K12 all the way to the KS45 capable of a lot more than you will ever use, but with plenty of friendly features!

Charge Controller FAQs
If you own a large built-in solar system, you should not need a charge controller, as it would be built into your inverter.
However, if you own a small system for outdoor activities or camping, a charge controller is the ideal solution for regulating the flow of electricity.
There are two types of charge controllers available.
The Pulse With Modulation (PWM) Charge Controller was the first developed and is still perfect for small solar systems, up to 200 W.
The Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT) Charge Controller is a recent technology which significantly improves the panels’ output. In fact, all solar inverters have this technology inbuilt to maximise solar system output.
The charge controller you will require depends on the size, environment, and load of your solar system.
