Solis alarm 1018: Grid output overcurrent
Solis alarm code 1018 usually means the inverter has detected grid output overcurrent. This means the current being exported from the inverter to the grid has moved outside the expected operating range.
Alarm code 1018 may appear as:
- OV-G-I
When this happens, the inverter may stop exporting power or disconnect from the grid to protect the solar system.
This does not always mean the inverter itself has failed. Grid output overcurrent may be linked to grid instability, AC wiring issues, inverter output behaviour, site wiring, grid voltage changes or another electrical condition affecting the inverter’s connection to the grid.
