SMA error 3501: Insulation failure
SMA inverter error code 3501 usually means the inverter has detected a ground fault or insulation failure in the PV array. When this happens, the inverter will usually stop feeding energy into your home or the grid until the fault is resolved.
This is not a normal operating message and should be treated seriously. Insulation faults can relate to the DC side of the solar system and may create unsafe electrical conditions.
