SMA error 202: Grid undervoltage
SMA inverter error code 202 usually means the grid voltage at the inverter connection point is too low, or the inverter has lost connection to the utility grid. When this happens, your inverter may disconnect from the grid to protect the system.
This does not always mean the inverter itself has failed. It is often a safety response that stops the inverter from exporting power when voltage conditions fall outside the permitted operating range.
Low grid voltage can sometimes occur due to local network conditions, voltage fluctuations, high electricity demand, AC cabling issues, a disconnected circuit breaker or site wiring problems.
