iStore error 2002: DC arc fault
iStore alarm 2002 usually means the inverter has detected a possible DC arc fault on the solar panel side of the system. This may relate to PV1 or PV2, depending on where the fault has been detected.
A DC arc fault can occur when PV string power cables are arcing or making poor contact. This may be caused by loose connectors, damaged cabling, poor terminations, moisture ingress, cracked components or another fault in the DC circuit.
This is a serious safety-related alarm and should not be ignored. DC arc faults can create fire risk if the system is not inspected and repaired properly.
