Fronius error 517: Power derating caused by too high a temperature
Fronius error code 517 usually means the inverter has reduced its output because the operating temperature is too high. This is known as power derating.
When this happens, your inverter may keep running, but it may produce less power than usual to protect internal components from heat damage.
This can happen during hot weather, when the inverter is exposed to direct sunlight, when airflow is restricted, or when dust and debris are affecting ventilation around the inverter.
