Solis Inverter Alarm: 1014
Solis alarm 1014: AC backfeed current
Solis alarm code 1014 usually means the inverter has detected AC backfeed current. This means current is flowing in a way the inverter does not expect during operation.
Alarm code 1014 may appear as:
- Backfeed_Iac
When this happens, the inverter may stop operating or disconnect from the grid as a protective response.
This is not a normal operating message and should not be ignored if it keeps coming back. AC backfeed current may be linked to grid conditions, inverter output behaviour, AC wiring, inverter protection settings or an internal inverter fault.
Let e-Solar check your inverter and AC connection
If the alarm appears once and clears after a restart, the inverter may have recovered from a temporary condition.
If Solis alarm 1014 keeps returning, it is worth having the system checked. Our Perth solar experts can inspect the inverter, review system settings and help determine whether the issue is related to AC backfeed current, inverter output, site wiring, grid conditions or another system fault.
Contact e-Solar and let us know:
- The exact error code on the screen or app
- When the code appears
- Whether your solar production has dropped
- Your inverter model, if you know it
Do not open the inverter or attempt electrical testing yourself. If the issue is persistent, a qualified technician may need to inspect AC wiring, test inverter output and review whether the inverter requires repair, warranty support or replacement.
