iStore error 2012: String current backfeed
iStore alarm 2012 usually means one solar string is producing a lower voltage than other strings connected in parallel, allowing current to flow back into the affected string.
This can happen when there are fewer solar panels connected in series on one string, when part of the array is heavily shaded, or when there is a fault causing abnormal string voltage.
The alarm may relate to PV1 or PV2, depending on which string has been affected.
