Growatt error 404: Bus sampling error
Growatt error code 404 usually means the inverter has detected a bus sampling error. This generally relates to how the inverter is measuring or monitoring internal voltage conditions.
When this happens, your inverter may stop operating or disconnect from the system to protect its internal components.
This is not a normal operating message and should not be ignored if it keeps appearing. A bus sampling error may be linked to an internal inverter fault, voltage sensing issue, control board problem, firmware behaviour or another electrical fault inside the inverter.
