Growatt error 401: DC high voltage fault
Growatt error code 401 usually means the inverter has detected a DC high voltage fault from the solar panel side of the system. When this happens, your inverter may stop operating to protect its internal components.
This is not a normal operating message and should not be ignored if it keeps appearing.
High DC voltage faults can sometimes occur due to solar string voltage being too high, incorrect panel configuration, inverter sizing issues, cold-weather voltage increases, DC cabling problems or another fault affecting the solar array.
