Growatt Inverter Error Code 303
Growatt error 303: NE abnormal
Growatt error code 303 usually means the inverter has detected an abnormal neutral-to-earth condition during its safety checks. This may relate to the neutral line, earth connection or protective earth connection.
When this happens, your inverter may stop operating or disconnect from the grid to protect the system.
This fault can sometimes occur when the AC voltage difference between neutral and earth is too high, or when the neutral cable or earth connection is not making proper contact. It may also appear after installation work, switchboard changes, wiring faults or grid connection issues.
Book a solar inverter check with e-Solar
If Growatt error code 303 appears, it is worth having the system checked before attempting repeated restarts. Neutral and earth faults should only be assessed by a qualified technician.
Our Perth-based solar team can inspect the inverter, review the AC wiring and help determine whether the issue is linked to the protective earth connection, neutral wiring, switchboard connection, inverter settings or wider electrical conditions.
Contact e-Solar and let us know:
- The exact error code on the screen or app
- When the code appears
- Whether your solar production has dropped
- Your inverter model, if you know it
Do not open the inverter, switchboard or AC terminals yourself. If the issue is persistent, a qualified technician may need to test the neutral-to-earth voltage, inspect the protective earth connection and confirm the system is safe before restoring normal operation.
