Growatt error 203: PV isolation low
Growatt error code 203 usually means the inverter has detected low insulation resistance between the solar panels and earth. When this happens, your inverter may temporarily stop operating to protect the system from unsafe electrical conditions.
This is usually not a simple monitoring issue. It is a safety response that helps protect the inverter and solar system if leakage current or insulation faults are detected on the DC side of the installation.
Low PV insulation resistance can sometimes occur due to damaged DC cabling, moisture ingress, faulty connectors, panel damage, grounding problems or degradation within the solar array. In some cases, the issue may appear after heavy rain, high humidity, storm activity or ageing system components.
